My first memory of listening to radio was hearing the signal from KSVC in Richfield, Utah. When I  was four, I snagged an old coffee can from my mom and used that as my microphone, attempting to  sound just like those way-cool guys on KSVC. I built an AM transmitter in high-school electronics and KRAB AM 880 was born on December 12, 1974,  serving my neighborhood and probably having only one listener–me, since I pre-recorded the shows  and would beg for the keys to Dad’s car so I could listen to myself on something with bigger  speakers than I had at the time. I guess I never stopped dreaming the dream. I was introduced to the Legend by my life-long friend,  General J. R., whose programs appear here on a regular basis. I carried out my first successful  broadcast on the day before Father’s Day in 2010, and I’ve been privileged to be part of the Legend  since then.
